Financial Scam Alert

American Momentum Bank has become aware of a financial scam conducted via e-mail, telephone and the internet in which an individual claiming to be a representative of American Momentum Bank offers easy to obtain loans. To obtain the loan, individuals are instructed to provide basic information and pay an upfront fee.  Later the individual is asked to sign a fraudulent Promissory Note and told that once the signed note is returned, the loan will be processed and loan proceeds will be sent soon.     

Recipients of these calls or e-mails should be aware the person claiming to represent American Momentum Bank may be an imposter and to proceed cautiously before providing any personal or confidential information and paying any fees.  Those who believe that they are or have been a victim of a this type of financial scam or any other scam, should report the incident to local, State, or Federal law enforcement authorities as well as report an incident involving American Momentum Bank to the Fraud Department at ReportFraud@americanmomentumbank.com
 
American Momentum Bank has locations in Florida and Texas and does not use third party individuals to solicit business, commercial and residential loans outside our Florida and Texas markets.  American Momentum Bank does not use Internet sites such as Quicken Loans or E-Loans to promote loan opportunities and all email correspondence with a bank employee is filtered through the American Momentum Bank email system.
